• With an Operating budget over 3 TRILLION$ ($3,000,000,000,000) you turn around and seek credit because you asked your Cabinet to find 100 milllion$ to”save”….that’s 0.003%…..WHO DO YOU THINK YOU’RE KIDDING?
• Most of that was already identified, making your “challenge” empty…..WHO DO YOU THINK YOU’RE KIDDING?
• The “size” of your challenge, even if it required all new finding, is equivalent to asking a family with $60,000 annual income to save about $2 for the year…..WHO DO YOU THINK YOU’RE KIDDING?
• Don’t blame your budget on somebody else…you did NOT “inherit” it
• True, a lot is committed to “entitlements”, but your team ginned up a budget that is 8+% more than last year; a bigger INCREASE by 4% than ever before (well, maybe not WW II ) …..WHO DO YOU THINK YOU’RE KIDDING?
• That budget is based on hokey, aggressive, unwarranted, incredible, forecasts for the economy; even refuted by the Congressional Budget Office. …..WHO DO YOU THINK YOU’RE KIDDING?

• SO….do something credible; stop blaming others…cut 4%
